FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT FOR SONISPHERE

The behemoth of metal festivals returns for its fourth year and it’s bigger and better than ever! Sonisphere is set to take over the sleepy village of Knebworth for three days from 6-8th July 2012 and this time around offers KISS, Queen and Faith No More as headliners.

Tickets are available here, with 4-day camping, 3-day non camping, day and the ultra-exclusive Rock Royalty VIP tickets all being offered as packages.

ANBERLIN TO PLAY FREE LONDON SHOW

After postponing their show at ULU in April, Anberlin have rescheduled the date to July 13th at the Garage – and it’s free! Existing ticket holders need to send proof of purchase to london@anberlin.com. On May 24th, the remaining tickets will be opened up for the general public. A follow up message of details on how to receive those tickets is expected in the next few days. The show comes alongside the band’s appearance at Sonisphere on July 10th and York Fibbers on July 12th.

SONISPHERE DAY TICKET BALLOT SCHEME REVEALED


In response to an overwhelming number of requests, Sonisphere has been able to put a strictly limited number of day tickets on sale via “The Power Ballot” scheme. Fans should sign up at www.sonispherefestivals.com/uk before 23rd May, when the ballot closes. You may apply for as many days as you like. Successful applicants will be informed which day(s) they can purchase tickets for via email on May 25th. Each customer may purchase up to four tickets for their allocated day. Tickets will be £80/day plus booking fee.

SONISPHERE LINE-UP FINALIZED

Sonic Boom Six, Innerpartysystem, While She Sleeps, Anberlin, Don Broco and many more have been added to the line-up for this year’s Sonisphere UK Festival, completing the line-up headlined by Metallica, Biffy Clyro and Slipknot. Acts also appearing across the weekend include CtrlAltRock favourites Rise To Remain, All Time Low and My Passion. We’re stoked over at the CAR camp, what about you?

LIMP BIZKIT, GALLOWS, KIDS IN GLASS HOUSES AND MORE FOR SONISPHERE

Get your red caps at the ready! Limp Bizkit will be making an exclusive return to Sonisphere Festival this summer! As well as the Biz, the following bands have also been added to the line-up; Gojira, The Sisters of Mercy, Gallows, INME, One Minute’s Silence, Protest The Hero Volbeat and Kids In Glass Houses. Sonisphere takes place over 8th-10th July at Hertfordshire’s stately Knebworth House. Tickets are available from Seetickets now.
