Easily the most notable thing about the previous record from Florida-based band We The Kings entitled ‘Smile Kid’ was that the name of the album was true to its sentiment. Every single one of the twelve songs were upbeat and sugary to the point of sickly sweet, and it was hardly an album that one could listen to if they wanted to be miserable.
